What is Fostering?
Foster With Us
Because we are a foster-based rescue with no physical shelter, we only have the capacity to save as many dogs
as we have foster parents.
When you become a foster parent with Friends Furever Animal Rescue, you will personally be saving the life of a dog who might have otherwise not received a second chance.
What It Means To Foster
By opening up your heart and home to a foster dog, you are removing them from the shelter environment and allowing them to flourish while they prepare to meet their future families. You help them to decompress so that their true personalities shine through. Foster parents help us to describe the dog's likes and dislikes. They help us identify behavior issues that may need to be addressed to make the pup more adoptable.
Become a foster home by completing an easy, online foster application. We consider your location and experience and routine when placing a dog with your home to ensure a good fit.
Our foster parents are provided with training to review the basics of fostering a pup and provided with basic supplies. They are matched with an experienced personal foster buddy for support. All foster parents are encouraged to join our incredibly supportive online community of foster parents.
